Italian cuisine is generally characterized by its simplicity, with many dishes having only two to four main ingredients. Italian cooks rely chiefly on the standard of the ingredients instead of on elaborate preparation. Ingredients and dishes vary by region. Many dishes that were once regional have proliferated with variations throughout the country.
Mushroom Risotto is a northern Italian rice dish cooked with broth until it reaches a creamy consistency. The broth can be derived from meat, fish, or vegetables. Many types of risotto contain butter, onion, wine , and parmesan cheese. It is one of the most familiar ways of cooking rice in Italy. Saffron was originally used for flavour and its signature yellow colour.
- Chicken broth 6 cups
- Olive oil 3 tablespoons
- Portobello mushrooms 450g
- White mushrooms 450g
- Onion 2
- Short-grain rice 1 ½ cups
- Black pepper 2 tea spoon
- Green onions 3 tablespoons
- Butter 4 tablespoons
- Parmesan cheese ⅓ cup
- sea salt to taste
How to Make:-
- Take one saucepan and add warm broth on low heat.
- Now in a Warm add 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large saucepan on medium to high heat.
- After this add mushrooms in it and Stir the and cook until it becomes soft or for 3 minutes.
- Remove mushrooms forma saucepan and their liquid and set a side.
- Now Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to pot and stir in the Onion.
- Cook for 1 minute.
- Now Add rice and apply a oil, using spoon to and cook for about 2 minutes.
- When the rice has taken on a light to golden color now pour in wine and stirring constantly until the wine is fully absorbed.
- Add 1/2 cup broth to the rice, and stir until the broth is absorbed.
- Continue adding broth 1/2 cup at a time, stirring continuously, until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is al fragile, about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Now Remove from heat and stir in mushrooms with their liquid, butter, Green onions, and parmesan cheese.
- Garnish with salt and pepper to taste.
Focaccia Bread is our favorite yeast-bread to make at home. It has a crisp outside and soft inside, and is ideal to serve with dinner, soups, stews, or maybe sliced in half and used for sandwiches. Thanks to the ingredients, it’s also naturally vegan.
- Olive oil 1/2 cup
- Garlic cloves 2
- Thyme 1 tea spoon
- Rosemary 1 tea spoon
- Black pepper 1/4 teaspoon
- Warm water 1 cup
- Dry yeast 2 1/4 teaspoons
- Honey 1/4 teaspoon
- all-purpose flour 2 1/2 cups
- Salt 1/2 teaspoon
HOW TO MAKE:-
- 1st of all Take one nonstick pan and put 2 tea spoon olive oil in it and then add 2 finely minced Garlic cloves, 1 tea spoon dried Thyme, 1 tea spoon dried rosemary and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- And put the pan on low heat gas flame and cook, stirring occasionally for 5 to 10 minutes but before the garlic browns Set it a side.
- After this take a large bowl and combine the 1/4 teaspoon of warm water, 2 1/4 teaspoons of yeast, 1/4 teaspoon of honey and Stir it for a few times then let sit for 5 minutes.
- Now Add 1 cup of the flour and a 1/4 cup of the marinated garlic-olive oil mixture to the bowl with yeast and honey. Stir 3 to 4 times until the flour has moistened. Let it sit for another 5 minutes.
- Stir in the remaining 1 1/2 cups of flour and the salt. When the dough comes together, transfer to a floured panel and knead it for 10 to 15 times.
- Transfer the dough to a large greased bowl, cover with a warm towel and let rise for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, heat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Use 2 tablespoons of the remaining garlic-olive oil mixture to oil a 9-inch by 13-inch baking sheet.
- Transfer the dough to the baking sheet then press it down into the pan.
- Use your fingers to dimple the dough then sprinkle the top with the remaining 2 tablespoons of the garlic-olive oil mixture. Let the dough rise for 20 minutes until it rushs slightly.
- Bake it until ot becomes golden brown or for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool baked focaccia bread on a wire rack.
- And ate it warm.
