Methi Paratha
If you are a fan of a healthy meal, then Methi Paratha is the recipe you must try. Packed with fenugreek leaves, this Indian bread is just so tasty and doesn’t compromise on the nutrients quotient. This can be best served with Raitha and some mixed veg pickle by the side.
Ingredients:-
- Wheat Flour – 2 Cups
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 Tea spoon
- Garam Masala – 1 Tea spoon
- Ajwain – 1/2 Tea spoon
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tea spoon
- Ginger – 1 Tea spoon
- Chaat Masala – 1 Tea spoon
- Garlic – 1 Tea spoon
- Green Chilli – 1 Tea spoon
- Curd – 1 Table spoon
- Oil – 2 Tea spoon
- Methi Leaves
Method to Make:
- Take wheat flour, ajwain, turmeric Powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala powder, salt, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, chopped green chili, curd, oil, methi leaves in a large bowl.
- Mix everything well.
- Gradually add water and prepare the dough. Knead it for 3-4 minutes.
- Apply some oil over the dough ball and cover it with a lid. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal sized balls.
- Dust the rolling surface with some flour and place the dough ball on it.
- Roll the dough evenly into a roti.
- Heat a pan and place the rolled out dough roti.
- Roast it on both sides by applying some ghee.
- Once it has golden brown spots on both sides, transfer it onto a plate.
- Serve the Methi Parathas hot with onion raitha or pickle by the side.
