Eggless Mawa Cake

Best and Easy Way to make EGGLESS MAWA CAKE | 2022

Eggless Mawa Cake- a tea time cake made with mawa and flavored with cardamom and saffron and nuts.
This is a popular cake from Irani/Parsi cafe and bakeries in India.

Ingredients:

  • Soft butter 100 gms
  • Castor sugar 12 table spoons
  • Condensed milk 200 gms
  • Mawa 175 gms
  • Milk 75 ml
  • Vanilla essence 1 tea spoon
  • Refined flour 125 gms
  • Baking powder 1 tea spoon
  • Baking soda 1/2 tea spoon
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tea spoon
  • Pistachio 5-6
  • Almond 4-5

Method to Make:

  1. First of all take large sized bowl and add the soft butter & sugar into it and the whisk them well using a hand hand mixer until the butter turns pale yellow & the mixture gets a little fluffy.
  2. After this add the condensed milk & grated mawa, whisk them well for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Once the condensed milk & mawa gets combined together then add milk along with vanilla essence & mix them well
  4. The mixture will seem to have curdled, don’t panic because the batter for eggless mawa cake is made in the same exact way.
  5. When all the wet ingredients have mixed well, take a sieve, and transfer all the dry ingredients into it
  6. Sieve all the dry ingredients into the wet mixture & fold the flour well using a spatula, then add the cardamom powder & mix them well again.
  7. Make sure that you don’t over mix the batter now your batter is ready.
  8. Now take cake mold of 3×3 and put all the batter in it.
  9.  Tap some piece of almond and pistachio.
  10. Now bake the cake at 180 C for 13-15 minutes in a preheated oven or until a skewer comes out clean after being inserted & a golden brown crust is formed.
  11. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven & let it cool down for 10-15 minutes.
  12. Your eggless mawa cupcakes are ready.
